Explore the local Kaltern area along 180 km of signposted hiking trails and footpaths between the beginning of March and end of November. Difficulty: easy to intermediate. Most spring and autumn hikes wind their way through the bottom of the valley, for example around lake Kaltern. The Mendel or Penegal are ideal destinations for cooler hikes during summer.
