In the spring, the botanical gardens of
Schloss Trauttmansdorff are blooming with rhododendrons. In the summer, the roses and lavender are magnificent and in the autumn, the Japanese garden is absolutly splendid. Eleven artistically created pavilions captivate the senses. And how beautiful to be able to trace the steps Sisi once took through these gardens...
The Sisi-Path leads down the path that the famous Empress Elisabeth of Austria once walked. Sisi often retreated to Meran and found the area of Castle Trauttmansdorff especially relaxing. In the castle, you will also find the
Touriseum, a museum of 200 years of tourism history.
