The Rastenbach Gorge

The Rastenbach gorge descends 600 meters from Altenburg to Lake Kaltern. Well-secured, wooden brigdes and stairs lead you through the dense forest, along a meandering stream and past an amazing waterfall.
 
Walking tour
Starting point: Parking lot near the sport facilities St. Anton
Of the parking lot over the marked path n° 11 to the "Kardatscher Wanderweg" n° 10 and after 45 minutes turn off left to the sign "Rastenbachklamm" n° 1 up to Altenburg. Then 15 minutes up the gorge to the parking lot "Müllereck". There cross the street and walk back over the well marked path n° 11 to the starting point.
Time: 2,5 hours
