The Peace Path

Reflection point
Reflection point
The Peace Path, which leads from Kaltern to St. Peter in Altenburg, was developed between 1995 and 2000 in a joint project of the Maria Himmelfahrt Parish, Project Tau at the Franciscan cloister and the Kaltern municipality. It meanders from St. Anton through the Rastenbach gorge to the church ruins of St. Peter in Altenburg. Along the way, artists have created five sculptures that serve as points of reflection. The sculptures represent the themes of Moderation, Wisdom, Justice, Faith and Hope. The Rastenbach gorge represents Courage and the St. Peter church ruins represent Love.
