The communities
The fraction Oberplanitzing
Kaltern is made up of nine, very different, neighborhoods or communities. The village center is referred to as "Market", then there is "Mitterdorf", "Pfuss", "St. Anton", "St. Nicholas", "Alternburg", "St. Josef am See", "Oberplanitzing" and "Unterplanitzing". Each community has its own very distinct character and unique charm.
