South Tyrolean quality food products

The quality symbol "Qualität Südtirol" applied to agricultural and processed food products stands for South Tyrolean origin and certified quality. Its purpose is to assure consumers who today are more discerning than ever and who place great importance on the quality and origin of what they eat and drink.

In all, ten product groups fall under the heading of South Tyrolean quality foodstuffs: South Tyrolean apples PGI*, milk and dairy products, South Tyrolean Speck PGI* (cured ham), bread, apple strudel and "Zelten" (Christmas sweetmeat), vegetables, berry fruits, honey, grappa, unfiltered, naturally cloudy apple juice, medicinal, herb and spice plants.
